After stumbling upon this post looking for answers I have found one and thought I'd return to share the answer. The problem isn't with the Mac itself but is however, a problem with the MacBook or whatever apple product you're on. It's a problem with the bluetooth plist files, I have attached a link the solution. https://macid.co/blog/2015/11/05/resett ... h-on-os-x/ I followed the second step and this fixed the issue! I tried this after seeing you can press option/alt+left shift and right click the bluetooth icon and press debug, I do not know if the debug method works.
