8bitdo SN30 Pro not working

I've purchased both Joystick Mapper and Joystick Show, but I can't seem to get my gamepad to work. It shows up as a joystick in both apps, and everything shows that it's working in Joystick Show. I've tried 3 of the 4 modes that my MacBook Pro can connect to, including Xinput, Dinput and macOS mode all to no avail.

UPDATE: I figured out what was wrong. macOS Catalina has some pretty serious security features. I had to go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy, click the Privacy tab and scroll down to Accessibility on the left, then check the box on the right for Joystick Mapper. Works like a charm now!
