Touchpad On PS4 Controller

Does anyone know if there is any way to use the input from the touchpad (not the touchpad button: movement from the touchpad) on the Dualshock PS4 controller? Thanks!

it is currently not possible, this is a driver limitation, sorry.
If this situation changes in the future I will add support for this.

Please make this possible for mac! It would be really nice to be able to switch between desktops and other mac touchpad specific things.

I noticed the other day that the touchpad on my ds4 v2 works on Steam in Big Picture Mode.

I'm using the latest osx on a 2018 13" macbook pro.

can you take a look and see if you can figure out a way to implement this feature?
