ThrustMaster T80 Racing Wheel

Postby Gitrist » Tue Aug 12, 2014 2:45 pm

Has anyone connected this device to a mac? I'm using joystick mapper and it recgonizes the device and I binded a few buttoms but it will not work. I've pressed the PS button like the FAQ suggested for a PS device. Any ideas?

I have no way to test this device here, I dont have access to one. Sorry.
I would like too to know if someone made this work.

I too am trying to get this wheel to work on an Emulator I am running on my MacBook. I just downloaded Joystick Mapper and Joystick Show and it looks promising; I've gotten several buttons to interact with the game so far but not the correct functions yet. I'll let you know if it gets anywhere,

Joystick Mapper was the answer. That and switching my T80 to PS3, perhaps, maybe that was just coincidence. Anyway, the Thrustmaster now works on my MacBook running different emulator versions of Spyhunter on OpenEmu; pedals, steering, full functionality. Let me know if you want to see any of my setup,

Hey Rodrigo, thanks again for the apps. The T80 eventually lost function but I was able to use your apps to map a Logitech wheel to my cabinet. Now I'm trying to run the cabinet off an old Power PC G4 that's running Tiger (10.4) and I'm having trouble finding a mapper for such an old Mac. Would you happen to have an earlier version of Mapper and Show that might help me run MAME on this dinosaur? No worries if not, I can keep using my Macbook instead. Thanks anyway!
