8-Way HAT Switch

Your app is excellent and just what I was looking for after I downloaded Tie Fighter from GoG.com. I'm using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. It has a HAT switch, and your joystick show app shows that it recognizes it as an 8-way HAT, but the joystick mapper app only recognizes four: up, right, down, and left. Is there any way to get support for the 8-way HAT?
