I plan to include an option to Send repeated keystrokes like a normal keyboard would do when you hold a key.
This is not something that most games need, but it is useful in some cases (and non-games)

Any update here? I just purchased Joystick mapper today and could really use this feature!

Still no update 2019. Holding down that shift key is pertinent in photoshop!
