Doesn't tell joysticks apart, can't remember settings

Postby quesogrande » Tue Jul 12, 2016 8:46 pm

Sadly I've been running into a whole lot of problems with Joystick Mapper.I put together two controllers using arcade components and usb zero delay boards. Each time I go through and program the first joystick, things go well. When I try to program the second, it either forgets the first joystick and thinks the second one is the first or it will not register the second one at all. Sometimes I manage to get both setup, but the moment I save and activate they mappings - it only registers one controller. Is there something I'm missing here?

Hi

Currently there is a bug on using multiple joysticks at the same time, at last when mapping,
but there is a workaround:

When mapping:
  • Plug one controller and map it normally
  • duplicate the controller in the mapping window
  • remove the controller and connect the next one
  • map it as the first controller

When using, connect the controllers and enable the preset normally,
if the mappings are inverted, keep the preset enabled and remove both controllers, then connect again in the desired order, it should work.

Sorry for the inconvenience. It will be fixed in the future.
